The Do Not Disturb feature on your iPhone allows you to set specific times or locations where you don’t want to be disturbed by phone calls, messages, or notifications. For example, if you’re going to bed for the night, you can turn on Do Not Disturb so that your phone doesn’t light up and make noise when new messages or notifications come in.

You can access the Do Not Disturb feature from the Control Center (swipe up from the bottom of the screen), or from the Settings app (Settings > Do Not Disturb). There are a few different options available for how you want Do Not Disturb to work, and some of these are:

• Silence all notifications: This will mute all sounds and vibrations from notifications, except for alarms and timers.

• Alarms only: This will allow sounds and vibrations from notifications related to alarms or timers, but all other types of notifications won’t make a peep. You’ll still receive banner alerts for these items at the top of your screen when they come in, though.

• Allow calls from everyone: As you might guess, this will allow all calls to come through, regardless of whether the person is in your contacts or not and more.

You can enable the Do Not Disturb feature if you want some extra juice on your battery and to avoid distractions during a specific time period. Keep in mind that the Do Not Disturb feature will also disable incoming calls and messages from waking your device up, so if someone tries to call or message you during this time, they may not be able to get through, and you’ll have to access your phone manually.

One way is to use the Do Not Disturb feature. When your phone is in this mode, it will not ring, vibrate or light up when you get a notification. This can help you save battery life because your phone won’t be constantly lighting up and draining energy. You can choose to have it turned on for one hour, until the end of the day, or indefinitely.

Another way to save battery life is by turning off Bluetooth and NFC when you’re not using them. To do this, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn off the switch next to Bluetooth. To turn off NFC, go to Settings > General > Usage and turn off the switch next to NFC.

Turn off location services when you don’t need them to save battery. You can do this by going to Settings > Privacy and Location Services and turning off the switch next to each location service (like “Find My iPhone,” which is turned on by default).

You could also turn down your screen brightness. To turn down your screen brightness, go to Settings > Display & Brightness and drag the slider to the left. Turning down the brightness of the screen can save a lot of battery life.

Use the recommended charger and cable. If you’re using an unofficial charger or a knockoff cable, it could damage your phone and reduce the life of your battery.

Avoid using your phone, play games, or watch videos while the phone is charging. This will reduce the charging time and may put extra strain on the battery.

How do you make your iPhone battery last longer?
